Once dinner was over, Jerome and Draya headed home to put Mehki in the bed and finish making up. Courtney and Caymin, on the other hand, were still dealing with the little issue that swung by earlier.
“You know I’m sorry about that little shit that went on earlier.” He said, speaking in code, since Amaiya was still woke.
“It’s cool.” She responded, nonchalantly. “Only reason why a woman act out like that is if that man is still leading her on or if they are still sleeping together. So which one is it?” She asked.
“Neither one, shid’.” He responded. “I ain’t slept with that girl in a minute for real.”
“Whatever, Courtney.”
“For’real though, Caymin.” He said and rubbed his hand down her thigh while he drove down the freeway. “I’m through playing games for’real. A nigga getting tired of the same ol’ shit. I just need you to trust me. Just give us a real chance. I’m gone talk to Nikki about that bullshit she was on, for’real.”
“No baby mama drama for me. Just take me to my car please.”
Courtney looked at Caymin and shook his head. The remainder of the ride to his home was quiet. When they finally pulled up, Courtney parked his Range Rover so the loft valet services could take it and park it in the parking garage. He opened up the back door and grabbed a sleeping Amaiya.
“Can you get my car please? My name is Caymin, and I have the Mercedes Benz. Here is my ticket.” He heard Caymin say.
“Say Cay, come up with me real quick. I have to talk to you.” He instructed.
“No, that’s okay. I’mma just head home.”
“Say man.” He said and approached the valet guy. He went into his pocket, grabbed his wad, pulled off a $100, and gave it to the guy.
“Don’t go get her ride until I call for it.”
The valet guy smiled and stuck the $100 in his pocket. Then, he hopped into Courtney’s Range and drove off.
“I’ll let you go in a lil’ bit. Just talk to me for a minute. I won’t hold you long.”
She cut her eyes at him and followed him into the building. Courtney gave the front attendants his security code to go up to his home. As soon as the elevators stopped, the doors opened right to his home.
Courtney’s home was decked out and beautiful. It was manly and looked like a King’s sanctum. His home was decorated in Black and Gray décor. His living room had black leather furniture with a huge TV mounted on the wall. He had pictures of Lions and Lioness’ hung up on his wall as well. His kitchen was huge, and it was all decked out in stainless steel.
Caymin watched as Courtney carried Amaiya to her room and listened as he put on her pajamas. Her room and her bathroom was decorated with the Disney Channel Princess Frozen theme. She had a cute canopy bed, which was accompanied by her many bears that she slept with. Caymin went into Courtney’s room and used the bathroom.
